I found out I am allergic to nickel which is in most metals so I will not be working with metals anymore except maybe in a small altered way w/ gloves. So that being said I will not be making more metal jewelry and at upcoming shows say you saw my ad online and get 10% off your purchase as well as look for unfinished items that you can create yourself.

The fairies are a fluttering and wishing us a happy Spring. On a rather depressing note, we were rejected for the Spring Bada Bing this year. They said they had over 150 applicants and could only have 50 some. Well, maybe next year. Our dear friend Mary Wolf Designs did not make it either and her jewelry is very magical.

Please come and see us at Mount Sinai's Spring Festival on April 17th at 11 am-4pm. Mary will be there as well. I would love for you to meet her. I will post another date soon of an open house as soon as I get confirmation.

My Calendar-Come see me

*I will be at the ARK's 7th annual Wildlife Benefit @ Rockwood Park Nature Center on March 6th from noon til 4pm as the Woodland Fairy. Please come out and support this great cause. There is a silent auction and also demos, food, and great things for sale to benefit animal reahabbing.

*April 17 I will be vending at the Mount Sina Spring Festival @ 2200 River Rd Prince George, VA (right off Temple Ave) from 11-4. This is a great fundraiser for this new group.

That's all that is confirmed so far. My fingers are still crossed about others. Thank you so much.

Dial up is no fun and more....

Okay, so the deal is I have dial up and that is slow enough and also I am unable to do alot and go to certain sites. The plus side is at least I have a computer and I can do a little on this site.

I just took the last 6 hours strait and converted all my pictures into smaller sizes so they will load better and even added a few pics of pieces I just made.

I am keeping my fingers crossed since I just applied to the Spring Bada Bing Show and if I am accepted this will be my BIG break. Fairy wishes, hoping, praying, groveling....ok, I know pathetic....I just need this ya know? I have also applied for the Richmond Craft Mafia. MORE GROVELING....

Alrighty then, right up there with applications I put one out there last week to be a Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. So more finger crossing.

Ok, while we are crossing our fingers, my wee folk fairy friends, can you please tell Mother Nature we are so tired of the snow. Thank you so much.

My buisness cards have arrived.

As of 1-16-2010 my new cards have shown up in the box by the road. It's amazing how that works. One day your on a machine just asking for something you want and a few days later it magically appears in a box near your dwelling. What a grand day.

New Year's 2010

Welcome to a new year and a new buisness. I brought in one of my altered art pieces I was working on and showed one of my friends at work the finished product. I was then given a goal by Jane. I was to have a buisness license by the end of the month. Well, I found out in Charles City I do not need one of those pesky little critters. That was easy. So I went online with help from my volunteer at work and talented fellow artist Mary Wolf and received my Federal Employer ID #. I have a bit more to do with the tax stuff, but it has just been one day and I already have a website.

I am hoping this will be more fun than work and that I will meet alot of wonderful people along the way. Thank you all for your support.
